A little about me
Hey, I'm Shane.
I'm a wedding filmmaker, a sports fan, a husband, and a big believer that the moments you never planned often become the ones you remember most.
I create documentary-style wedding films with a cinematic touch. My goal isn't to turn your wedding into a production. It's to let you enjoy the day, be fully present with your favorite people, and have a film that brings you right back to how it all felt.
I'm based in Savannah, Georgia and West Michigan, and I'm always up for traveling wherever your story takes us.
How I got here
From the sidelines to the wedding day.
I've been making videos since I was twelve, and some of my favorite early experiences came from filming alongside the athletic teams at Michigan State University.
I've always loved sports: the build-up, the nerves, the celebrations, and the split-second moments you can't recreate. In a funny way, weddings have a lot of that same energy. You never know exactly when something unforgettable is going to happen. You just have to be ready for it.
I also served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. That experience shaped the way I show up: prepared, steady under pressure, and ready to adapt when the day takes an unexpected turn.
In 2024, I decided to pursue wedding filmmaking full-time, bringing all of those experiences into work that feels creative and personal.
Why I make these films
It's about more than the way it looked.
There are things a photograph can't quite hold: the sound of someone's laugh, the way a voice catches during a toast, the words you didn't know you needed to hear.
Losing my mom gave the idea of preserving memories an even deeper meaning for me. It's one reason I care so much about the voices and little moments woven into a wedding day.
I don't believe every moment needs to be posed or perfect to be worth remembering. Often, it's the honest, ordinary moments that mean the most years later.

I'll guide you when it's helpful, but I won't spend your wedding day asking you to repeat moments or perform for the camera.

A little life outside of weddings.
When I'm not filming or editing, you'll probably find me spending time with my wife, Marie, and our golden retriever, Chance.
I'm a sports guy at heart, and I love the kind of people who don't mind a little adventure, a good laugh, or having their dog be part of the celebration.
More than anything, I enjoy getting to know the couples I work with. I want you to feel comfortable around me long before I ever press record.
